Facing Change with Trust in Being

May 8 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

This is a core-teaching event

Trust in Being in Times of Transition

As we approach the first hundred days of the new administration, it may be difficult to remember to Trust in Being and also that everything we encounter is Consciousness arising as itself in and as THAT. Let’s come together in mutuality to share how we’re navigating change and how to face that change with trust in Being.

This sitting is an opportunity to come together and speak whatever you’re feeling about the changes we’re undergoing as a country. We’ll hold each other in mutuality and help to reframe worries into what ifs: What if it’s all beyond our control? (It is). What if what happens is beyond our knowing? (It is). How can we rest in this not knowing and Trust in Being to carry us through whatever may come? If we can find this Trust, then we can act as we’re called to act as the needs arise. Join us!

Subhaga Crystal Bacon (teacher)

Subhaga Crystal Bacon is a Queer elder poet and teacher with fourteen years living in Whole-Being Realization. Their experience as a nonbinary person in a biologically female aging body brings them into continual contact with the paradox of Being. They have had a good deal of experience navigating not knowing, being in the “down,” and finding equanimity and joy in living moment by moment. Their writing explores the paradoxes of human/nature and mitigating patterned responses to past conditioning including familial and cultural wounding and trauma.
