Free End-of-Life Educational Seminar: What We Might Expect During the Dying Process
May 4 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm PDT

Maybe you’ve experienced being with someone as they were dying. Maybe you haven’t. It’s likely that you will at some point. Perhaps it will be a family member, a relative, or a friend.
This seminar is an opportunity to explore what’s likely to happen when someone is dying. The actual experience can be very different from how dying–and the moment of death–are typically portrayed in movies and on TV.
How do we interpret the changes we see in the dying person? What is “normal” and what might indicate that something is wrong? What is likely to happen as death approaches, and at the moment of death?
Knowing what we might expect during the dying process helps us understand and navigate the changes we see when someone is dying, and helps us know how we can best care for them. It can relieve the additional––and unnecessary––anxiety and alarm of believing that something has gone wrong.
Why wait to express to our loved ones The Four Things That Matter Most (according to Dr. Ira Byock): “I love you. I forgive you. Thank you. Please forgive me.” We might not have the opportunity to do so later on.
We invite you to attend the first of our free end-of-life educational seminars, to be held on Sunday May 4th, 4 – 5:30 pm Pacific / 5 – 6:30 pm Mountain / 6 – 7:30 pm Central / 7 – 8:30 pm Eastern
Please join us. No need to register.
