End of Life Online Webinar:
Loving Someone With A Chronic Condition
Loving someone who is living with chronic illness can be both deeply meaningful and profoundly challenging. When illness becomes a long-term companion in a loved one’s life, it often reshapes roles, expectations and the rhythms of relationship. Partners, family members, and friends may find themselves navigating uncertainty, balancing caregiving with companionship and learning how to support without losing the essence of mutual connection. Feelings of helplessness, fear, grief and even exhaustion can arise alongside deep love, loyalty and devotion. This journey invites individuals to expand their capacity for patience, empathy, and presence in ways they may never have imagined.
In this webinar, we will explore the relational and emotional landscape of supporting someone with chronic illness. How do we remain connected when physical limitations or fluctuating health change how we spend time together? How do caregivers care for themselves while offering sustained support to another? And how can relationships evolve in ways that foster dignity, mutual respect, and authentic love rather than falling into patterns of burnout or imbalance? This conversation will offer a compassionate space to explore these questions, share experiences, and discover ways to nurture both the individual living with illness and those who walk beside them.
