End of Life Online Webinar:
Journey of Living With a Chronic Condition
The journey of living with a chronic condition is often a path marked by unexpected turns, adaptations, losses, discoveries, and moments of profound resilience. Unlike an acute illness that arrives and eventually passes, a chronic condition becomes woven into the fabric of daily life. Individuals are often called upon to navigate changing symptoms, shifting capabilities, medical decisions, and an uncertain future. Along the way, they may encounter grief for what has been lost, frustration with limitations, and the emotional challenge of living in a body that does not always cooperate. Yet many also discover strengths they never knew they possessed and develop a deeper appreciation for the preciousness of ordinary moments.
In this webinar, we will explore the many dimensions of this journey—not only the physical realities of chronic illness, but also its emotional, relational, and spiritual impact. How do we adapt to a life that may look different from what we once imagined? How do we maintain hope without denying the challenges we face? What resources help us cultivate resilience, meaning, and connection in the midst of ongoing uncertainty? Together we will reflect on the wisdom that can emerge through adversity and explore ways of meeting chronic illness with greater self-compassion, courage, and presence. Whether you are living with a chronic condition yourself or walking alongside someone who is, this conversation offers an opportunity to honor both the difficulties and the unexpected gifts that can arise along the way.
