Splashing Moon Sittings

An online event every third Sunday of each month

Splashing Moon is a reflection of how consciousness meets lived experience. The moon has long symbolized awareness—clear, reflective and ever-present. When it appears undisturbed, it shines perfectly on still water. But when the water is in motion, the moon seems to shimmer, break and scatter. In the same way, our lives are the “splashing”—the movements of emotion, thought, relationship and circumstance. These sittings are a space where we recognize that consciousness is present within all of it. Conscious Embodiment, where realization is no longer something to access, but something that is lived as emotion, thought, relationship and circumstance.

Come and join us in this beautiful exploration of Being.

Teachers for these sittings will be shuffled to include all East Coast teachers. Current schedule was created to show dates, but may not reflect the teachers involved. As the schedule gets finalized, the names below will change.

Amy Conger (interning teacher)

Amy Conger has been involved with Waking Down/Trillium Awakening since 2010 and joined the Teachers’ Circle in 2015.  She hosted eight Sacred Summer Celebration retreats at her farm in prior years.  She draws from experiences of nature, meditation, and as a Trillium Awakening teacher to support and encourage individuals on this path.

Bill Miller (teacher)

Bill Miller has been involved in Waking Down/Trillium since 2009, becoming a Full Teacher in the Trillium Awakening Teacher’s Circle during 2013. He has conducted many sittings, workshops and retreats in New York City, New York State, New Jersey, Washington DC, and Ohio, alone and with fellow Trillium teachers and mentors. He has studied Zen Buddhism and worked as a clinical social worker for many years. He takes an Integral perspective in his work.

Bonita Williams (teacher)

Jean Marchand (teacher)

Jean Marchand has been involved with Waking Down/Trillium Awakening since 1999 and became a teacher in 2002. His work is informed by more than five decades of meditation and spiritual inquiry. Based in Ontario, Canada, Jean supports individuals and groups who are drawn to living the experience of Embodied Awakening in relationship with themselves, others and the World.

Jim Trofatter (teacher)

Jim Trofatter has been involved with this work since 2004 and became a member of the teacher’s circle in 2014.  In his work, he draws on his experience as a trillium awakening teacher,  shamanic practitioner,  Realization Process teacher, iConscious coach and meditator to help facilitate people on their next step of their life’s journey. Though classically trained as a geneticist, he has now dedicated his full efforts to the promotion and evolution of Trillium Awakening. He is currently hosting the podcast The Three Petals which explores the process of spiritual awakening.
