Cielle Backstrom (teacher)

CIELLE BACKSTROM had a significant spiritual awakening at age 15. By age 19 she found Transcendental Meditation (TM) and became a TM teacher in 1973. She grew in consciousness realization through 2002. At that point she recognized that she was missing embodiment in her awakening and found Trillium Awakening (formerly Waking Down). Her embodied awakening unfolded in 2003. She became a Trillium teacher in 2006.

Her journey on the Trillium path opened multiple inner doorways revealing just how “whole” life is and the huge range that it includes. This led her to study several certification courses with processes she uses as aids to assist her students on their path of awakening. These processes include Inner Relationship Focusing, Holotropic Breathwork and Peruvian based energy healing.

Cielle was a member of the Trillium Teachers board of directors from 2006-2011 and again from 2023 to present. She has been part of the Trillium Awakening Operations circle since 2012. She is also a member of the Trillium Teacher’s Core Teaching Committee. She was certified in 2019 to conduct Whole Being Realization Clarification Conversations.

Her passions include symbolic art journaling, geometry, traveling, being a grandmother and supporting people on their awakening journey, especially through compassionate listening.
