Guidelines for Working in Trillium Awakening
Safety is a cornerstone of individual and group interactions within Trillium Awakening, as it creates the foundation for authentic exploration and growth. In both one-on-one and group settings, a sense of safety allows participants to relax into their own experience, express themselves openly, and engage vulnerably with others. Trillium Awakening fosters this safety by cultivating an environment of respect, non-judgment, and compassionate listening, where each person’s journey is honored. This supportive atmosphere is essential for individuals to feel secure enough to face and integrate challenging emotions, patterns, or aspects of themselves. Safety in group interactions also ensures that the shared relational field remains a space of trust and mutuality, enabling everyone to benefit from the depth and richness of collective awakening.
In order to create a safe environment for all students, mentors and teachers, the Trillium Awakening Teachers Circle (TATC) has developed a number of Guidelines on appropriate behavior for working in groups, ways to enhance your Trillium experience and for ways to deal with tensions or conflicts when they arise. Though found elsewhere within this site, this brings them all together in one place.
