Recommendations For Starting Work in Trillium Awakening™

The main experiential component of the Trillium Awakening work centers around one-on-one sessions with teachers and small group work involving 5-6 non-teaching members.

Our fundamental philosophy is that an individual doesn’t need to be fixed, that there is nothing innately wrong or broken within them. The basic premise is that when an individual settles into and accepts their current experience just as it is, healing can spontaneously occur both physically, emotionally and psychologically leading to profound spiritual awakenings and realizations.

The teachers work with the understanding that most of the trauma that individuals carry in their bodies and minds arose within unhealthy, unsafe relationships. It follows then that healing will best take place within healthier, safer relationships. The understanding of the importance of mutual relational healing highlights the essential need for working in small groups as part of the spiritual awakening process.

Over time, this healing process may lead to a Conscious Embodied Awakening called the initial Whole-Being Realization . This is where one recognizes their inherent, limited human existence as well as simultaneously residing in transcendence.

This is personalized work aimed at freeing you to find your authentic expression as a human being and to realize your fundamental wholeness. It is not psychotherapy nor is it group therapy. Your Trillium Awakening Team

With the above in mind, we strongly encourage each student on the Trillium Awakening path to build, and regularly connect with, a support team consisting of:

(1) a Trillium Awakening Teacher – Our teachers each been immersed in this work for 15-30 years and understands the intricacies of the path and the obstacles, challenges and advantages of the unfolding of your authentic nature. They also help the student attune to the resonant field of transmission of Trillium Awakening.

(2) a Trillium Awakening Mentor – Most mentors are teachers-in-training. Though they are not there to substitute for the work with a teacher, they do support you with deep active listening and act as a sounding board for your process in between teacher sessions.

(3) a Therapist – Our work is not therapy and there will be times when deep psychological content will come up that needs to be processed by a professional psychotherapist. Many of our broken zones can have huge emotional and psychological content that needs professional help to process. We recommend either a Trillium Awakening therapist or a therapist who understands the intricacies of walking a spiritual path.

(4) Two peers on the Trillium path (preferably one male, one female).  Peers are individuals who are there to support you. They should not be used as teachers or mentors, but someone whom you can relate to on an everyday basis and who understands what you’re going through since they are going through it also.

We also recommend that you begin to familiarize yourself with our literature, videos (See Introductory Video Series), Sittings and Workshops. The more you immerse yourself in the transmission of the Trillium Awakening the more that transmission will accelerate your work and deepen your transformative process.
