Trillium Community Call

We hope you’re enjoying our community building gatherings. If you haven’t attended one yet, we hope you will come to our Community Call on October 28th.

10 am to noon Pacific (starting at 11 am Mountain, noon Central, 1 pm Eastern)

Past gatherings have been playful, inspiring, and healing. This is all part of the work of the new Community Building Working Group (CBWG), founded earlier this year.

 

SANDRA GLICKMAN:
I enjoyed attending my first community call on September 15. Seeing “new” faces and hearing voices from interested students whom I don’t encounter was exciting for me. The extended community has always been important to me; over the years I have joined teachers in strategize how to attract and serve our full body of participants. Now with a committee of very accomplished leaders, both teachers and students, empowered with fresh ideas. It seems the magic is taking hold. People on the call were warm and enthusiastic in sharing their voices. Delightful! A sense this form is giving substance to our long-time dream for bringing us all together. An important beginning!

 

 

ALLEN BAKER:
The community calls have given me a greater sense of being part of the Trillium community. The “softening of the walls” between the teachers and non-teachers which has been demonstrated in the calls have deepened my sense of mutuality in the community. The teachers who have attended have been remarkably open to honest feedback and the outgrowth for me has been more engagement and participation as part of the community.

OCTOBER 28th COMMUNITY CALL

On the October Community Call, we’ll be doing connecting activities in breakout rooms, so we can open and join our hearts in playfulness. We’ll hear updates about our five community-building initiatives. Also, we’ll do another polarity practice together, which should be dynamic and strengthen our capacity to hold and live in the Paradox as a community.
